East Nashville Farmers Market's 2nd Annual Pie Festival
Every July the East Nashville Farmers Market hosts their Annual Pie Festival, an old-fashioned event with grandmas, kids, hipsters, and young people showing up with their wares. This year the savory Zucchini Bisquick Pie made a resurgence and berry pies of all sorts were well represented. But the pie the judges were swooning over was a deep dish lemon chess pie from Samike Cohen. We agree. Enjoy.
